A Flipping Good Time at the Memorial Day Pancake Breakfast!

What a turnout from our Kiwanis Club of Poway18 members strong! It seems no one had anything better to do… except have an absolute blast supporting the Rancho Bernardo Historical Society and the Memorial Day tribute!

While the crowds were lighter this year, the event was still a huge success, filled with delicious pancakes, great company, and plenty of laughs. Speaking of laughs, John Couvrette put on quite the show, flipping four pancakes at once—someone tell John Lingham at OPH he’s got competition!

A big shout-out to Johnny Pancake Lingham for donating three buckets of batter, ensuring our grill-on-wheels kept everyone well-fed. Another huge thanks to Bob Beavers and Lee Freeman for helping with gear transfer and staging the day before.
