What a TEAM of wild Kiwanians serving the Little Leaguers, families….. and of course having fun!
Another successful event due to some very hard working Kiwanis members, Miss Poway Court princesses, and even upcoming Pageant Contestants! Of course we couldn’t do it without Johnny Pancake Lingham providing the batter, Ken Post who donated to the Poway American Little League to cover our grill fee!

March 7 Club Meeting
Despite a rainy evening, the Poway Kiwanis Club had an incredible turnout for a memorable meeting filled with inspiring moments and exciting milestones.
One of the evening’s highlights was a remarkable presentation from Lori Grennan from Preserve Wild Poway (https://www.preservewildpoway.org/), who captivated attendees with her insights on preserving Poway’s native habitat. She shared valuable information on protecting the region’s diverse flora and fauna, underscoring the importance of conservation efforts in maintaining our community’s natural beauty for generations to come.
Adding to the excitement of the evening, Ginger Couvrette, a member of the Poway Community Foundation (https://www.powaycommunityfoundation.org/), presented the club with a generous $10,000 donation. This substantial contribution is a testament to the Foundation’s commitment to supporting impactful community initiatives. The funds will play a vital role in furthering the club’s mission of service and creating meaningful change in Poway.
